Amy's Wedding

Amy and Davey's wedding was beautiful. Everything looked great and there was so much attention to detail. I loved Amy's dress-it was unique and looked gorgeous. It turned out to be a very fun day with the trolley and photo booth. Great ideas! Timothy and Ty got a little tired on the trolley ride and started sucking their thumbs. It's great to have someone else have the same habit! Ty wants to know when he will get married in the temple with Eleanor. Sorry buddy-she's your cousin...

Historic Occasion

A picture with Ty in front of Obama's acceptance speech
Lisa and I grinning after the results!
Angela and Lisa couldn't contain their happiness!
Aunt Sara with Ty down in the hotel lobby-there were a ton of people there!

Ty got to party down at the Wyndham hotel in Phoenix with all of the Obama supporters. We had a fun night hanging out in the hotel room with Sara and Dick, Ryan and Bethany, Lisa and Angela who drove down from Taylor for the fun!
I love the story of how my dad woke up Dessie and Morgan when they were small children so they could see the man landing on the moon. I wanted the same for Ty. I wanted him to see the first time our country elected our first African American President! Even though all night long he kept saying, "I want McCain to win!" He had a blast in the hotel and we will let him be a conservative Republican if that is what he wants!
It was a historic event for our country!

Spider Baby!

I had to post these pics of Jonathan in his spider costume. He was almost too big for it! I still can't tell what color his eyes will be-maybe a hazel or green or they might turn completely brown. I love brown eyes so I don't care but it would be cute with his dark hair if they were hazel.

Halloween 2008

Spider baby-he wasn't crazy about the hat but I made him keep it on!
Jonathan with Bethany as a lovely maiden.
Ty really wanted to be a policeman with a gun this year but by the time I got to the party store the police officer costumes were sold out. Bummer. He decided that he would be a fireman with an ax instead-only problem was that the costume didn't come with an ax. All they had was a bloody ax that I bought! He loved it! I just couldn't handle my three year old running around with a bloody ax so I ordered the one in the picture online and it got here just in time for Halloween.

Happy Halloween!

My cousin Chelsea posted the cutest pictures of past Halloweens and it made me want to find some of ours. The first one is of my dad and Ty last Halloween. I would have never thought that he wouldn't be around for this Halloween. I should have taken a ton more pictures! He is holding his megaphone which he loved to use to be annoying. He loved that megaphone! My dad wasn't one to dress up or really get into Halloween but he always enjoyed a good 'dinner in a pumpkin.'
The other pictures are of Halloweens past. Daniel as the 'Hulk' and Angela as a princess-which reminds us all of Lily. The best is Morgan's mummy costume. Just strips of an old sheet? And I am not quite sure what Dessie is but I think some sort of HillBilly? I am the cute little girl with the bottle. Mom-I should of been off the bottle! JK Fun memories. I need to find some more Halloween pictures!

Do the Dew!

Holy cow! I drank a Mountain Dew today at around noon. I can't stop! I haven't had one since I can remember and I was over at my mom's house and my brother in law, Bart, left his 12 pack laying around so I decided to drink one and I have accomplished more today than I would in a week. I cleaned out the car, cleaned the porch, made dinner, did three days worth of dishes, cleaned out the fish bowl, mopped the floors, wiped out the nasty fridge and then I started organizing kitchen cabinets! What! I can't sleep so I have been blogging and even organizing our office. I even clipped and organized coupons! All I have to say is that while I loved the bionic energy- I know that tomorrow a.m. I will be so sleepy and cranky with my kids and husband. Yikes!

Just A Little Attention Please!

Lately Ty has been seeking a lot more attention. He tries to get noticed at everything he does, especially if we are showing attention to Jonathan. "Look Mom! I can do tummy time just like Jonathan!" "Look I can roll over like the baby and hold my head up...." e.t.c. We try to give him attention at every chance we get-how much does this kid need? I thought this picture was funny because he looks so proud of himself and Jonathan's face is saying "big deal."

Ty's First Day of Preschool

Let's just say that Ty's first day was a little upsetting for him. I made Theron take him and he called me fifteen minutes later saying that he couldn't even get him through the door. He was screaming and yelling and thrashing around. Finally the teacher came and got him and told Theron to leave. I guess she said something to him because he stopped. When I picked him up he was happy and didn't want to leave. He cried again the next time but when we took him on Fri. he didn't cry so hopefully thing will continue to go well. He has to take his blankie and carries it with him during the whole class. His teacher said that we can work on getting him to leave his blankie. What? We just want him not to scream and go to preschool-may be too much for the little tyke-but hey if she can get him to leave it-why not?

A Few Firsts for Jonathan

He loves his Bumbo Chair. He thinks he is such a big boy when he gets to sit in it.

Jonathan Trying Cereal for the First Time-Yea He Likes it! ( at least a little)

Yellowstone and Island Park

We started the long drive up to Idaho after the Whiting Reunion. We stopped and stayed in Pleasant Grove for a couple days with Sarah and Tad and then we picked up my mom in SLC and headed on up to Idaho. The boys did really good the first day traveling and then it was like they caught on and knew that they would be in the car for hours. Jonathan would just star screaming the minute we buckled him in his car seat. We stopped in Blackfoot and saw Grandpa and Grandma Wolfley and then headed on up to Island Park. One day we went into Yellowstone. It was beautiful. We saw elk, buffalo, and one moose. It doesn't matter how many times we go there the beauty still astounds me. Theron then went back to AZ and I stayed with my mom for another week. We had fun and I am glad that I got to spend time with my mom. She is the best grandma!
